Thursday Terrain Corner

We continue on with this incredibly busy week. Step by step, we climb the mountain. Speaking of mountains, let's talk about gaming terrain. We've gotta make your gaming tables look good.

In the Terrain Corner today we have: Tabletop Scenics Previews March Releases, New Pledge Level Added to TerrainCrate 2 Kickstarter, New Blood Bowl Mats From Deep-Cut Studio, and Mantic Games Teams with Warlord Games In Terrain Crate 2 Kickstarter.

Tabletop Scenics Previews March Releases

February saw the beginning of the Second Wave of Gothic releases, with the premieres of Hive City Mansion and Hive City Ventilation Shaft. Starting tomorrow, we are going to welcome an avalanche of products. Six (!) new products, with additional webstore exclusive releases are ready to hit the shelves! Let′s get started.

New Pledge Level Added to TerrainCrate 2 Kickstarter

We’ve had a super start to the campaign and it’s been great to see so many people jumping on board the hype terrain for this second Kickstarter. We’ve already passed one stretch goal today and are well on the way to the second, which is fantastic.

Something that’s come up since the campaign launched last Thursday was that people wanted to create their own pledges. A couple of sets from Bleakwood Hall, a set from Campbell Heights and something from Bellevue Square – that sort of thing

We’re a very friendly bunch here at Mantic and, of course, we want to get as much wonderful terrain in your hands as possible. With that in mind, we’re pleased to announce a brand-new pledge level: Pick ‘n’ Mix.

New Blood Bowl Mats From Deep-Cut Studio

All our Blood Bowl pitches have received a major update today! All game mats are now available with dugouts, trackers, templates and everything else you need to keep your game smooth. A couple of new designs have found their way into the league as well. Check these playmats out and pick your favorite

Mantic Games Teams with Warlord Games In Terrain Crate 2 Kickstarter

However, there was another genre that we felt needed that TerrainCrate love: historical wargaming. With this in mind, we teamed up with our friends over at Warlord Games to create a selection of pieces that are perfectly compatible with their 28mm tabletop World War II game, Bolt Action. We wanted to ensure wargamers had big, chunky scenery pieces they could quickly throw onto their battlefield, so they can get onto the serious business of rolling dice.
