Modern Warfare Player Goes on Insane Zombie Killing Spree
As part of its Season 1 Content release, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare implemented the fan-favorite Infected game mode for a limited amount of time. To win as the last survivor of the game is one thing, but to do it with ease and style is another.
Members of the Infected team carry a knife, have enhanced mobility, and will always respawn after dying, allowing them to swarm and overwhelm players. This can make it difficult for lone survivors to stay alive, but Paul_the_Loadstar scoffs at this idea, using the mass mob of swarming Infected to his advantage and going on a hilarious killing spree.
Paul_the_Loadstar posted his Modern Warfare massacre on Reddit as a small video. Starting with the 680 model shotgun, Paul_the_Loadstar kills three of the several infected swarming him and his last two remaining partners. He then quickly switches to his M9A1 pistol and unloads into the crowd as they draw closer. When the swarm makes its way around his cover and kills his remaining teammates, Paul_the_Loadstar makes a run for it, and obviously, the infected chase him. That's when Paul_the_Loadstar decides to pull out a claymore. All huddled together in their pack, the claymore blows up a large portion of the Infected team, netting Paul_the_Loadstar five more medals to go with the two he earned while shooting into the crowd.
What's funny about this tactic is that it doesn't just work once, but twice. Right after blowing up the opposing team the first time, Paul_the_Loadstar drops another claymore that nets him even more kills. His clip didn't show whether or not he won the game mode after this, but it's likely that any infected team members that found this funny allowed him to do so. He would have had to have survived for a specific amount of time otherwise. Regardless, the killing spree he went on is both impressive and amusing, not unlike some other admirable kills pulled off in Modern Warfare.
Modern Warfare will feature Infected for two more days. Once December 18 rolls around, Infinity Ward will cycle the mode out for something new to keep with weekly Season 1 updates, so fans should get their fill of it while they still can. The community has been vocal about Infinity Ward only adding favored game modes temporarily, but at the moment, there's no sign of that changing.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Season 1 will end on January 28.
