CS:GO skin trading star ‘McSkillet’ killed in high speed crash in California
A popular YouTuber and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive skins trader died in high-speed vehicle collision near San Diego, California. The crash killed two other people, a 43-year-old mother and her 12-year-old daughter, and seriously injured one more. The Telegraph reports that the California Highway Patrol and San Diego Police Department identified Trevor ‘McSkillet’ Heitmann as the driver of one of the vehicles in the crash. Eyewitnesses say he was driving at more that 100 mph, heading south on the northbound side of Interstate 805 in San Diego County, when his car ran head-on into the SUV driven by one of the other victims at around 16:30 Thursday. California Highway Patrol told the Los Angeles Times that the accident involved almost a dozen vehicles and shut down traffic on the northbound lane of I-805. The injured victim was hospitalized, but is expected to survive. Under the online moniker McSkillet, Heitmann had been a successful YouTuber, with some of his CS:GO-related videos amassing millions of views. He was active in the CS:GO skin-trading scene, and many of his videos are about skin trading.
