Forza Horizon 4’s system requirements are lower than Forza Horizon 3’s

The Forza Horizon 4 system requirements will be lower on PC than those of its predecessor. Despite coming out more than two years after its predecessor, Forza Horizon 3, the next iteration in the series, which takes place in the United Kingdom, won’t need as much computing power in order to run. Forza Horizon 3 had a somewhat iffy launch on PC when it came out in 2016, but the developers have learned from that ahead of the next game. Somehow, not only are they confident that they know how to fix those problems, but they seem to have been able to optimise Forza Horizon 4 much more successfully than 3. According to Kotaku, in a hands-off demo at Gamescom, the game’s creative director, Ralph Fulton, said Forza Horizon 4’s minimum spec would be lower than the baseline offered for Forza Horizon 3. We don’t actually know how much lower that is, as Playground aren’t revealing it just yet, but we can at least take a look at what the last game asked for in order to get some idea of what you’ll need to run the new game.
