You can vote for which League of Legends champion gets reworked next
League of Legends’ developer is giving players the chance to decide which character they want to see updated. In an announcement earlier today, Riot outlined five “high-priority” champions, and says it’s letting players vote on which one is most in need of a significant gameplay overhaul.
Dr Mundo, Fiddlesticks, Nocturne, Shyvana, and Volibear are all in line for a visual & gameplay update (VGU) - a system in which Riot “redesigns a champion from the ground up, including their gameplay, visuals, story, animations, voice acting...the works.” It’s a system that’s already been in place for quite some time, but lead champion producer Ryan ‘Reav3’ Mireles has previously said that a recent spate of VGUs means there aren’t many pressing updates left to make.
That said, all of the champions listed in this announcement are clearly in need of a little TLC. Reav3 says that many of them need help delivering on their power fantasies - Nocturne needs to be a more ghostly, nightmarish apparition, while Shyvana’s fire-breathing dragon persona needs to be further differentiated from her human form.
