Cyberpunk 2077 Map Shown in Lore Book | Game Rant

The Cyberpunk 2077 map has been revealed in a new lore book about the game. Developer CD Projekt RED had confirmed that the Cyberpunk 2077 world size is smaller than The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt's map, but fans are expecting the game to be full of places to visit.

Dark Horse Comics has announced that it will be selling The World of Cyberpunk 2077 Deluxe Edition lore book when the game releases in April 2020. The book is now available for pre-order and images of the book have revealed the Cyberpunk 2077 map. The map can be seen in two images in the book. One of these is on the "exclusive" yellow version of the book's cover, and the other is just a blue and green version of the map which is also on the book's cover.

The map isn't labeled, so it's difficult to see which district of Night City will be where. CD Projekt RED has confirmed that each Night City district will its own sort of style and there will be different kinds of people there. In the Pacifica district of the city, there are two gangs called the Voodoo Boys and The Animals. Santo Domingo is the industrial district, and in the city center, there are corporations and skyscrapers.

It may sound like it could have been difficult for CD Projekt RED to get all of that in the game and to spread that out across the Cyberpunk 2077. However, the developer did have some help from real city planners who used their knowledge to make sure that the city is easy to get around. Cyberpunk 2077 doesn't allow players to drive flying cars and can only drive normal cars and on motorbikes, so making that travel easy and making sure traffic flows well is incredibly important.

The Cyberpunk 2077 map from the lore book does offer fans a good look at streets, without labels, but it doesn't show the full picture. CD Projekt RED has also confirmed that the game's skyscrapers will have missions and players will be able to go into different floors of these tall buildings. It means that potentially, there is much more to see than what's shown on the map, but it will just be vertical. This may not ease the disappointment that the game's map will be smaller than The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt's, but it does ensure that it's in the running to be one of the best RPGs of the year.

Cyberpunk 2077 will be released on April 16, 2020 on PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One.
