Death Stranding Cyber Monday Deal: Get It For $51, Or Get A $20 PSN Gift Card

Death Stranding, the latest game from Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima, has proven divisive. It's quite different from other open-world games, in that it's more about how you traverse it's giant world than how you shoot or fight within it. It's not for everyone, but if its different elements jive with you, it might just be one of your favorite games of 2019. It's a PS4 exclusive for now, though a PC version will be coming next year. If you're interested in playing it, you can do so with a pretty good Cyber Monday 2019 deal might make it a little more tempting.

GameSpot's review awarded it a 9/10. "It's positive without ignoring pain; in fact, it argues in both its story and its gameplay that adversity itself is what makes things worth doing and life worth living," wrote Kallie Plagge. "It's a game that requires patience, compassion, and love, and it's also one we really need right now."

If you already own a PS4 and you're looking for a good deal on Death Stranding, the best one we've seen is through Ebay, which is offering a brand-new copy of the game plus a $20 PSN gift card (email delivery) for $60, free shipping included. With that offer, you're effectively getting the game for just $40, which is by far the best discount you'll find on it this holiday season.

If you just want a raw discount, Amazon and Target both have the game for $51, which is the lowest price we've seen on the game so far. It probably won't go any lower this year.

A GameStop flash deal was offering the limited-edition Death Stranding PS4 Pro, which includes the game, for $300, but it's sold out. If the look of the console and yellow controller sound appealing to you, though, Amazon currently has it stock for $400. We'll be keeping an eye out in case the deal, or a similar one, comes back.
