WWE Raw 12/23/2019 Spoilers and Results | Game Rant

While WWE Monday Night Raw is usually live every week, the 12/23/2019 Raw is a rare exception. WWE Raw for 12/23 was filmed last week in Des Moines, IA, meaning that we already know all the winners and losers from the show.

Those who want to watch Raw tonight without any spoilers are advised to turn back, but those who just want to know the results can read on. Please note that this post will not have the usual match grades like we had for Raw on 12/16/2019, as these are advanced results. Therefore, we can't judge the match quality. However, the Raw 12/23 spoilers will speak for themselves.

Here are the Raw 12/23 spoilers. Note that these spoilers are based on those who were at the show live, so not everything reported here may actually make it on TV.

Winner: Kevin Owens. The big theme for Raw 12/23 is Christmas, for obvious reasons. The set is decorated to match the holiday, and there is even a holiday message from Jimmy Fallon and various WWE superstars. The first match is also Christmas-themed, with Kevin Owens taking on Mojo Rawley in a Christmas Street Fight. For those wondering why Kevin Owens and Mojo Rawley suddenly have beef, it dates back to Raw a couple of weeks ago when Owens was searching for The Authors of Pain backstage. Rawley mocked him during his search, prompting Owens to slap Rawley in the face.

After Owens defeats Rawley, he puts him through a table for good measure, and then calls out Seth Rollins and The Authors of Pain. All Owens gets for his trouble is yet another beatdown.

Winner: Bobby Lashley. Last week's Raw saw Bobby Lashley propose to Lana live in the ring. For this week in the ongoing love triangle storyline, Lashley defeats Cedric Alexander. After the match, Lana reveals that her wedding with Lashley will take place on next week's episode of Raw. Rusev will presumably interfere, which will hopefully lead to the final match between these two. Maybe it will even be the Last Man Standing Match that was booked for Starrcade 2019 only to never take place.

Winner: Drew McIntyre. McIntyre beats Ryder easily and then brutalizes Curt Hawkins afterwards. McIntyre suggests in a promo that 2020 will be his year, so maybe a proper push is on the way for him yet.

Becky Lynch may be the Raw Women's Champion, but she feels secondary to Women's Tag Team Champion Asuka, who she lost to in the main event of TLC 2019. On this episode of Raw, Lynch calls out Asuka and challenges her to a match, which she agrees to. Unfortunately, no other details will be hammered out on the episode.

Winner: Ricochet. Ricochet beats Tony Nese. One may notice that a common theme between the matches of Raw for 12/23/2019 is that they all have fairly obvious winners and are more or less squash matches.

Winner: Aleister Black. Not much to say about this, except that it does lead into...

Winner: Buddy Murphy. After both Buddy Murphy and Aleister Black make short work of some local enhancement talent, the two have another confrontation. Black takes out Murphy again, with a rematch between the two scheduled for next week's episode of Raw.

Winner: Charlotte Flair. Chelsea Green is from NXT, so that's why some fans who only watch Raw and SmackDown may not recognize her name. At any rate, Flair is able to defeat Green via submission.

Winners: The OC. It seems as though The Viking Raiders and The OC will be continuing their feud, which makes it seem as though the Viking Raiders' open challenges are over. That's a little disappointing, especially since they don't have terribly great chemistry with Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows. With this being a special Christmas episode of Raw, one might think that the faces would win this one easily, but The OC actually pick up the victory after AJ Styles pins Orton.

Winner: Erick Rowan. Yet another squash match for this episode of Raw. It doesn't make for terribly compelling television, but at least some independent wrestlers in the Des Moines area can get some TV time.

Winner: Rusev. Speaking of the Rusev/Lana/Lashley love triangle, Rusev is able to pick up a victory over No Way Jose. He then says that he is "happy" for Lashley and Lana. Expect Rusev to crash their wedding next week.

Winner: Rey Mysterio. The big main event ends in a disqualification after The Authors of Pain interfere and attack Mysterio. Following the match, Rollins and The AoP go to put Mysterio through the announce table, but Samoa Joe steps in the way. This might be a sign that Joe is going to return to the active roster, but that remains to be seen. Joe ends up getting beat down by both Rollins and The AoP to end the night.

Next week's episode of Raw features a TLC 2019 rematch between Buddy Murphy and Aleister Black, plus the long-awaited wedding for Bobby Lashley and Lana. It will actually air live, so spoilers won't be available come next week's episode of Raw.
