Midseason TV Preview: 34 Shows We Can't Wait to Watch

Welcome to our Winter/Midseason TV preview for 2020, as the new year brings us Patrick Stewart returning as Picard for a brand new Star Trek series, Larry David delivering unto us a 10th season of Curb Your Enthusiasm, and some notable classics closing up shop - like Supernatural, Modern Family, Arrow, BoJack Horseman, and The Good Place. Netflix's Chilling Adventures of Sabrina returns, as do Fargo, Outlander, Better Call Saul, and The Walking Dead. On the new series front, there's 9-1-1: Lone Star (with Rob Lowe), Devs (with Nick Offerman), Briarpatch (with Rosario Dawson), High Fidelity (with Zoe Kravitz), and Nora from Queens (with Awkwafina). Also, Locke & Key, after a decade of other networks trying to bring it to screen (and a full unaired pilot filmed), is finally a real TV series. What a world! Below you'll find a slideshow filled with 34 shows, both new and returning, that we're totally psyched for in 2020. After that is a full list of all the new and returning shows being released between now through April announced so far. Now, we're not going to have every streaming series on the horizon here since Hulu, Amazon, and Netflix (especially Netflix) play things close to the vest when it comes to original series and movie announcements, so you'll have to keep an eye out on IGN for more release dates as they're announced.
