Genshin Impact: We Will Be Reunited Quest Guide | Game Rant
As Genshin Impact players anxiously await the announcement of what content will be added to the game's 1.5 update, there is plenty of content to experience in the recently launched Chapter 1: Act 4 story quest. Like other story quests in Genshin Impact, the act is divided into several chapters that spread across four separate quests. This guide will outline everything required to complete the first part in the quest series titled "We Will Be Reunited".
To start the quest, players must travel to the Adventurers' Guild in Liyue and speak with Branch Master Lan. Lan will inform the Traveler that the Treasure Hoarders have conspired to steal from the Abyss Order.
The Traveler is then tasked with investigating the Abyss Order Ruins north of Mt. Aozang. To quickly reach the destination, fast travel to the "Clear Pool and Mountain Caverns" domain and head north.
Once inside the ruins, players must follow the main path before reaching a mechanical door that will open automatically. After some brief platforming, players will eventually reach a small group of Hilichurls that must be dispatched before the player can progress further.
After eliminating the Hilichurls, players will eventually reach a long narrow hallway with a glowing sphere at the end that is shooting bubbles at the player. For players who took part in the Windblume Festival activities, this platforming segment operates in a similar manner to the Great Bubble Crash challenge.
In order to avoid the bubbles players will have alcoves that they are able to shelter in on both sides of the hallway. It is worth noting that players will find a common chest in both of the second alcoves on the left and right-hand side of the hallway.
At the end of the hallway, players must jump down into the abyss, and use their glide to reach the ground safely. At the end of the hallway, Paimon will comment on a tent that appears to have been set up by the Treasure Hoarders.
Next to this tent, players can find an additional common chest that they can loot. From the chest's location, players must travel up the staircase before reaching a large corrupted Statue of the Seven. After a brief cutscene, the statue will begin to react to the Traveler's presence and the ground in the vicinity will begin to deal damage to the player.
The player must quickly move away from the statue before reaching another Bubble Rush hallway section. Unlike the first bubble segment, players should note that as they maneuver this second hallway, the ground underneath them will begin to disappear. As a result, when taking shelter in the alcoves on both sides of the hallway, it is important to jump inside of them so as not to lose the platform it connects to. During this section, players can also find a common chest in each of the alcoves only on the lefthand side of the hallway.
After progressing further players will eventually reach the game's latest enemy addition, in the form of the Abyss Herald. Players should not have much difficulty defeating the Herald in its first form as the majority of his attacks are easily telegraphed.
Once the Abyss Herald has been defeated, players can then return from the dungeon before speaking with Dainsleif. Once the conversation has concluded players will complete the quest and unlock the subsequent story quest "A Herald Without Adherents."
