To start, it is very important to mention that a character must live in South Korea in order to become a K-pop idol in BitLife. The easiest way to live in that location is to be born there, and players that are interested in the profession are advised to continually create new characters until they have one that is suitable. Alternatively, fans can look to emigrate to South Korea from another country in this popular life sim, though doing so may take some time.
With that established, the first step to becoming a K-pop artist is to increase a character's Voice skill. This is done by taking as many vocal lessons as possible, and those can be accessed from the Mind and Body section of the Activities menu. Notably, vocal lessons are totally free until a character turns 18, and BitLife players that are looking to lead a musical life are thus advised to get their parents' permission to start training young.
Once a fan has filled their character's Voice skill bar to approximately 80-90%, it is now time to actively pursue a musical profession in this mobile game. More specifically, players should navigate to the Special Careers section of the Jobs menu and then select Musician. From there, fans should pick Solo, set the career type to Singer, and audition for any of the three record labels that are listed. Eventually, one of these labels should sign the character, allowing them to become a K-pop idol.
