Disturbing Call of Duty: Warzone Bug Sees Player Trapped Inside Their Operator
Bugs and glitches are certainly not uncommon for a live service game like Call of Duty: Warzone. With frequent updates, Warzone is constantly changing in an attempt to keep the game feeling fresh for returning players. However, for as often as the game gets new updates and seasonal content, such as the current fifth Warzone season for Black Ops Cold War, that means there are also plenty of opportunities for unforseen issues to arise, namely with new issues, bugs, and glitches.
As players have found, these problems range from the game breaking to downright harmless. In fact, players just recently discovered a Warzone exploit that gives squads an unfair advantage after a teammate's death. In one of the buildings, a door inside a building is shut, with the teammates currently alive pinned down by an enemy team. However, for thew spectating player, the doorway is completely gone, giving them a perfect view of where the enemies are and directing one of his teammates to aim in a certain spot to take them out. Thankfully, the latest discovere glitch is harmless, if not more disturbing than anything else.
The latest Call of Duty: Warzone glitch randomly occurs during the initial moments of a match as players wait to drop out from the helicopters. Over on Reddit, one user pauses the game during this intial cutscene and when they get back, they're greeted with a mess of a screen. The player's point of view appears to be in first person as they can very clearly see their fist, but the camera appears to have gotten stuck inside their operator.
As they moved their camera around, they could see all sorts of weird things looking up at an ear, the inside of a mouth complete with teeth and lips, and what appears to be the underside of an eye. Others in the comments have tried to decypher the other bodily organs that may or may not have been seen, but thankfully this disorienting viewpoint lasted for only a couple of seconds as when the match begins, the camera is pulled back out to where it is expected before dropping into Rebirth Island.
As strange as this glitch is, it isn't the weirdest experience this season. After redeploying during a match, one player quickly switched between a riot shield and kali sticks during their descent. Weirdly enough, when approaching the ground at a high speed, their operator reaches out to brace for the fall before the parachute is deployed, though in this case, the Warzone operator reaches out with three arms instead of two. Players have already speculated that the additional arm is likely due to switching between the two handed kali sticks and the one handed riot shield, essentially switching just as the falling animation activated.
