The Revenant comes to Warframe this week along with a new quest

Warframe’s next frame is the Revenant, and if you’ve been eagerly anticipating his introduction, there’s good news - you’ll be able to get your hands on him this week. At least, in theory. Developer Digital Extremes is targeting this week for launch, though has yet to provide a specific date or time. But we do have some pertinent details on what to expect from the new frame. The Revenant will come as part of a new quest called, appropriately, Mask of the Revenant. Set on Nakak, this will be a bite-sized bit of lore delving into the frame’s story and the history of the plains. When Revenant goes live, it’ll only be with his shotgun. The melee weapon will follow some time afterward - apparently, the moveset is deeply tied with the upcoming melee 3.0 revamp, so we won’t see that weapon until those changes hit Warframe. He’s built for fast-paced play and heavy defense, and his big ability lets you drain energy to fire out a spiral of high DPS beams - and enemies killed by it will drop overshield pickups to enhance your defense.
