Podcast Radio
Tuesday, and the work week is underway. Mine's shaping up to be rather busy with various things going on. Hopefully, that'll make it go by quickly. Another thing that helps is listening to some gaming podcasts while I work.
Today on the dial we have: Geeks of the North Episode 51: Kickstarter; Chance of Gaming Episode 117; Breathing Flames Episode 13: Power to the Player; Anonymous Tabletop Episode 28: Do You Want to Play a Game?; and Epic Gaming Night Podcast Episode 175: Werewolf Legacy!
Geeks of the North Episode 51: Kickstarter
In this episode, we chat about our experiences with crowdfunding, most notably Kickstarter, and how we see it develop with time. Paul makes an impromptu audio unboxing (awkward...) of the first Guild Ball Blacksmiths box. Finally, we talk about the ongoing kickstarter for the super fun game Processing: A Game of Serving Humanity by Fight in a Box. So sit back, relax, grab a paintbrush and enjoy the show!
We talk about the GMT sale, store table space, gender identity in RPGs, what we played and news of the week
Breathing Flames Episode 13: Power to the Player
The iSlaytheDragon crew discuss variable player powers. What are they and do we like them? Which games employ them best and which games use them as a crutch.
Also, this is the conclusion to the first season of the Breathing Flames podcast. We will be back after examining what worked and what didn’t. We would appreciate any feed back you may have. Talk to you soon!
Anonymous Tabletop Episode 28: Do You Want to Play a Game?
Welcome to Anonymous Tabletop Episode 28.
In our 3rd Annual Halloween episode we find out what it’s like when Lathan records on painkillers, Katie and Jean discuss “that time of the month” and its effect on game nights, and we threaten Dev with an exceptionally long future episode.
And finally, Geeky Jean talks pumpkins, Katie’s Amazon Review takes one to the chin, and Celebrity Deathmatch turns into a chaotic Halloween themed Royal Rumble.
Oh, and we can’t forget Tim’s Sack. Even when he’s not here it still somehow manages to scare the Hell out of us..
