Warhammer: Chaosbane will get a post-launch DLC campaign featuring the Tomb Kings
Warhammer: Chaosbane releases next week, which naturally means it’s time to talk about what’s coming after launch. There will be plenty of free updates doling out new features over time, along with paid DLC that will make more substantial additions, including a new act featuring a new set of villains that aren’t even part of the titular Chaos.
Four DLC packs will be available as part of the game’s season pass. The first will offer new emotes and a passive skill to boost your chances of bringing in heroic items. The second adds another passive skill to bring in more God fragments, and an extra God skill tree for every character. The third will then bring new companions for every character.
The real meat is in the fourth DLC pack, which adds a new act with a new story in environments totally different from the main campaign. This act will pit you against the Tomb Kings rather than the Chaos forces of the base story for a pretty significant change of pace.
