Borderlands 3 Wandering Debt Collector Location and How to Defeat Him
Since it launched back in September, Borderlands 3 has provided players with nearly endless amounts of content including free in-game events, new cosmetic gear, and the recently released expansion centered on Mad Moxxi and her attempt to steal back Handsome Jack's space casino. The latest DLC not only features a new story line to progress through but more than a number of secrets that players have been slowly uncovering.
The latest rare Borderlands 3 spawn is for a roaming boss character known as the Debt Collector Mk II. This hulking robot is a formidable foe once found as it comes equipped with machine guns, lasers, ice blasts, and more. Players should make sure to equip weapons that can eat through armor such as ones that feature the corrosive element.
Here's where players can track down this special loader bot and unlock an achievement for the trouble.
To track down this mini boss, players will want to hunt it inside of the Spendopticon. Specifically, this rare spawn can be found in front of the casino, not far from Timothy’s hideout.
However, before the Debt Collector can spawn, players will need to wrap up a side mission first.
Upon entering the Spendopticon, a side mission named Sisterly Love will need to be completed. The quest marker should appear after a few of the main story missions are completed and can be accessed on a poster from an NPC called Sandy Hart near the fast travel point. The mission itself is fairly straightforward and shouldn't take too complete.
Once finished, the Debt Collector Mk II activates and has a slim chance to start spawning. If the bot doesn't appear, players should save and quit, and then reload into the game. Some players have reported better luck after a few reloads while others had to continue this trend over 20 times. Some have reported that leaving the instance and then loading back in also have a chance to cause it to spawn.
This boss can also be farmed as it has a chance to drop many of the new legendary weapons that were added to the game through the expansion.
