Untitled Goose Game was such an unexpected popular hit that it not only has hit one million copies sold, but also has people calling for Goosey merchandise to be made. A Lego Ideas amateur has built a beautiful concept for Untitled Goose Legos, and fans are loving it.
If anyone out there still hasn't played the Untitled Goose Game, they absolutely should be playing it. There's a good reason why this adorable goose became one of the most downloaded games on the Nintendo Switch in 2019. It was the independent game that no one saw coming and took the internet by storm, flooding social media with memes and hilarious goosey videos. And now that people are in love with the goose who is also a jerk, people are looking for goose merch to add a little more Untitled Goose Game to their lives.
There is a place where amateur Lego enthusiasts can recommend ideas for the Lego company to make. Lego Ideas allows anyone to submit great ideas for Lego products and allow other members to support their ideas. Those that get a lot of attention and gain 10,000 supporters may someday be on official Lego product. There are tons of great Lego sets already in production, and tons of video games that would make for awesome Lego sets in the future too.
One of the hottest Ideas on the Lego Idea site is Untitled Goose Game-themed Lego set; it has nearly 5,000 supporters already. It's only been on the site for a few days, and it's nearly halfway to its goal of 10,000 supporters. That number will probably continue to grow since Untitled Goose Game is being considered for DICE's 2019 Best Game Awards. The Idea still has 590 days to get just 5,300 more supporters, and it is well on its way.
This would be great for not only fans of Untitled Goose Game, but also for the very small developers of the game, House House. It is a very small dev company, and a contract with Lego could be a big financial boon. It might also be a great incentive to perhaps make some Untitled DLC or sequels with even more goosey goodness.
Untitled Goose Game is available for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Macintosh operating systems, and Microsoft Windows.
