Fortnite: Where to Find Mythical Weapons | Game Rant
Fortnite's Season 2 has dropped, bring along with it a Deadpool crossover event and some map changes. One of the biggest changes to come with the new season, however, is shiny new weapons for players to collect. These weapons are called Mythics, and they have earned that moniker for the incredible amount of damage they do.
There are six new Mythic weapons available now in Fortnite. Each of these guns is associated with a mini-boss now in the game that players can battle. Players will have to find the mini bosses, fight their way into secret bases, and kill the boss to grab these Mythics.
The Mythics include: is Brutus' Minigun, TNTina's Ka-Boom Bow, Skye's Assault Rifle, Skye's Grappler, Meowscle's Peow Peow Rifle, and Midas' Drum Gun. Here's a breakdown of the stats:
Each of these gold-tiered guns will appear in each match, but players will first have to defeat mini bosses to get them. There are five different location where each of the five bosses will spawn, so players have a chance to grab Mythics, though the competition for these will most likely be very fierce. Players will have to battle NPCs, other players, and then the mini boss to get their Mythics. Each of the bosses appears in one of the new Secret Lair Locations introduced with Season 2 Chapter 2. Here's a map with all five locations of the bosses:
- The red arrow points to the Shark, which is the secret lair of Skye, who drops the Assault Rifle and Grappler.
- The purple arrow in the northeastern-most part of the map points to a ship just offshore called the Yacht, and Meowscles can be found there (Meowscles is also an unlockable skin in Fortnite now). He drops the Peow Peow.
- The yellow arrow is the Rig, which is TNTina's home base. She drops the bow.
- Brutus is at the cyan arrow, in the Grotto, and he drops the minigun.
- The Agency, which is Midas' base, is in the dead center of the map. Grab the very overpowered Fortnite Mythic Drum Gun here.
Fortnite is available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Android, Nintendo Switch, iOS, Microsoft Windows, Macintosh operating systems.
