Assassin's Creed Valhalla Achievement List Leaks Online
There are a ton of rumors currently available about Assassin's Creed 2020, with the only thing that is mostly agreed upon (and highly corroborated) is that it's about vikings. Fans have taken to calling it Assassin's Creed Ragnarok, but the latest supposed leak puts forth another potential name: Assassin's Creed Valhalla. Supposedly, this information was found on a test profile for the game that has since been deleted, but revealed the name and achievement requirements.
There was no artwork for the achievements nor an image or description of the game, with the account being a random string of numbers. As this Assassin's Creed Valhalla leak seemingly originates on 4chan, it must be met with the proper dosage of salt. However, the achievements are rather convincing, so if this is fake, it is a good fake. If it is indeed legitimate, then stranger things have happened.
Looking over this achievement list, it is indeed rather believable. Perhaps the strangest thing to note is the mention of Sequences, as neither Odyssey nor Origins used this older terminology in their achievement list, but it could be that Ragnarok is structured more like the classic Assassin's Creed games, at least as far as that is concerned. Another strange mention is the achievement written in morse code which spells Seventeen, something that hasn't really been brought up since Desmond Miles' time. Still, there could be an explanation of these as time moves on.
Otherwise, there's nothing really discernible as to whether or not this is fake. There are achievements for killing certain mythological beasts like the Kraken, Nidhoggr, and more, as well as references to Odin and a creature known as Vedrfolnir, a hawk that'll likely serve as a companion to the rumored Assassin's Creed protagonist, Jora. It also seems to corroborate a ton of rumors, such as a co-op mode for the new Assassin's Creed game, which may actually be the biggest point against it.

At the end of the day, it seems hard to dismiss this as fake or declare this true. Assassin's Creed has a history of leaks before reveals, however, and it's about the right time for these to appear. That said, if this is the full achievement list already, it could be one of the biggest leaks in Ubisoft's history. Fans will know one way or the other whenever Ubisoft comments on the game, likely at its substitute E3 convention.
Assassin's Creed 2020 is currently in development.
