Animal Crossing: New Horizons is now one of Nintendo's fastest-selling games ever. Since its release, New Horizons has proven itself to be a smash hit, after an overwhelmingly positive response from both players and critics alike. Of course, one of the main objectives in New Horizons is establishing the perfect village that is beaming with life.
Although the game features nearly 400 villagers to choose from, players can only select 10 to live on the island at any given time. This makes the process of inviting villagers to the island all the more important and it is vital that players are getting the perfect set of villagers to ensure harmony in their respective islands. Mott is the fitness-obsessed lion that can talk endlessly about workout routines and often suggests starting out an island sports team. However, much of Mott's appeal comes down to his kind and charming personality. He is never condescending and is always happy to chat with players and other villagers. Additionally, he is also a great gift-giver especially at the beginning given that he is known for giving away iron nuggets, which are of course a valuable crafting item in New Horizons.
Merengue is also another one of those villagers that sports a normal personality type. She is sweet and friendly to players and often gives them compliments. She is also regarded as one of the best-designed characters in Animal Crossing: New Horizons since Merengue, who is a rhino, has a horn made of a tiny strawberry.
