Resident Evil 4 Remake Team is Biggest Yet | Game Rant

The Resident Evil 4 remake development team will be much larger than the development teams for the Resident Evil 2 and 3 remakes, it has been revealed. The Resident Evil 4 remake leaked last week, as a new rumor suggested that the game would be released in 2022.

On Twitter, noted Resident Evil leaker AestheticGamer responded to the report about the Resident Evil 4 remake. AestheticGamer revealed more details about the remake's development, including its larger development team. The leaker also confirmed that M-Two, which helped with the development of the Resident Evil 3 remake and has former Capcom and Platinum Games developers, is in charge of the new game.

The tweets also said that M-Two has been following the response to the Resident Evil 3 remake "closely" to see what worked with that game and what didn't. The Resident Evil 3 remake was criticized for several reasons, such as Capcom's controversial decision to remove the game's multiple endings. This meant that endings that fans liked and one popular character weren't shown in this version of the game.

Some also criticized the Resident Evil 3 remake for being incredibly short. The game can take around six hours for players to beat, which didn't seem like very long to some, at least not when the game is sold at full price. It does have the Resident Evil Resistance multiplayer, though, which adds asymmetrical multiplayer gameplay, but many did want more from the game's story campaign.

There were other changes in the Resident Evil 3 remake too, like the decision to make Nemesis scarier. While modders did put Nemesis in revealing outfits, the enemy is difficult to take on, and many gamers seem to have enjoyed that part of the game.

It's unclear how much of the Resident Evil 4 remake will need to be changed because of the response to the Resident Evil 3 remake. However, Capcom and M-Two will be trying not to upset fans as Resident Evil 8 could also be controversial. That game, which will be released before the Resident Evil 4 remake say rumors, will feature first-person gameplay and zombies in armor, which fans may not like. If fans don't like this or the Resident Evil 4 remake, Capcom will have to work very hard to get back fan support.

Resident Evil 4 Remake is reportedly in development.
