Destiny 2: How to Complete the Felwinter's Lie Shotgun Quest
A brand new quest has just appeared in Destiny 2, and while its reward has not been officially revealed, all signs point to it being the legendary Felwinter's Lie shotgun. For players that would like to obtain this legendary for themselves, there are a number of steps that they will need to complete in Destiny 2's "The Lie "quest, and this guide will provide full details on the requirements.
To note, Destiny 2's "The Lie" quest has not been completed by any players at the time of writing, as its first step is a community challenge that will take a number of days to finish. However, dataminers have been able to identify all of the steps from "The Lie" quest in Destiny 2, and that it is what will be presented in this guide.
With that established, these are the steps that players will need to follow if they want to complete "The Lie" and earn the Felwinter's Lie shotgun in Destiny 2:
Start "The Lie" by visiting Ana Bray on Mars. She will instruct players to complete public events on the EDZ, Io, and the Moon. This is where the aforementioned community challenge comes into play, as the playerbase will need to complete 3,000,000 public events on each of these three locations to advance to Step 2.
When all 9,000,000 public events have been finished, players will need to return to Ana Bray to advance D2's "The Lie" quest.
Visit the provided coordinates to investigate some energy signatures.
Equip one of the best shotguns in Destiny 2, and use it to kill NPCs or other Guardians in the Crucible.
Use the provided coordinates to visit the Lunar Seraph Bunker on the Moon.
Complete a final mission to "investigate one of Rasputin's closest-held secrets" and obtain Destiny 2's Felwinter's Lie shotgun.
For players that would like to know more about the reward for completing Destiny 2's "The Lie" quest, the Felwinter's Lie legendary shotgun is a weapon the initially appeared in the original Destiny. According to datamines, the Felwinter's Lie in D2 has Full Choke, Accurized Rounds, Slideshot, and Opening Shot as fixed rolls, and it also has a unique perk called Shot Package. This unique perk gives the shotgun an aggressive frame that has been modified to have a more uniform pellet spread.
