Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Fan Breaks Down CR-56 AMAX Optics
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare offers players a chance to customize their guns for optimal performance. Every player crafts their own unique build for every gun but one fan wanted to know which optic was best.
After some experimentation one Modern Warfare Reddit user has revealed their findings on which optic performs best in terms of recoil on the CR-56 AMAX. With seven options to choose from players will no longer have to wonder which provides the best in recoil adjustment.
The experiment was performed in a private match using a spray target. The CR-56 AMAX was equipped with only an optic and fired at full auto running through 90 bullets per test. The Reddit user did not compensate for recoil and instead let it run its course. After testing each of the optics the player found that the Mini Reflex sight performed the worst in terms of recoil with Iron Sights, APX5 Holo, and Sniper Scope tieing at second worse. The best optic attachment was the 4.0x Flip Hybrid main sight. Its recoil was below the others by a small margin, but in Warzone and multiplayer that small margin might be all that matters.
Fans enjoyed the results and found the test to be both educational. The straight to the point results made it easy to tell which optic performed better. In the image, the Reddit user marked their firing position and screenshot position making every factor available for players to view. This makes the test easy for anyone to recreate if they doubt the results.
Although this test only accounts for the CR-56 AMAX and optics, the Reddit fan is planning on recreating the test with other guns. The initial post seems to be the beginning stages of a larger test to fully check the effect of attachments on the guns. It would be interesting to see the same test performed on the Fennec with multiple attachments.
Fans in the Reddit post's comments were nothing but supportive and thankful for taking the time to test the gun. They appreciated the short to-the-point graphic rather than listening to long-winded 11-minute videos. It would be interesting to see the FENNEC tested giving perspective to both of Season 4's new weapons. It may not be too long before another one of these graphics makes an appearance giving more insight into exactly how the attachments affect the weapon.
