A clever Reddit user has shared a trick that will help players when leveling their FENNEC SMG in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. With a few adjustments to any player's loadout, every fan can optimize their grind to skins on the FENNEC.
The advice is fairly simple as it involves the secondary weapon and not the FENNEC itself. The FENNEC is a new SMG and by nature, it will cycle through ammo at a fast rate. This can cause players to run out of ammunition halting their grind and making it more difficult to gain new skins. One Reddit user noticed that the X16 pistol uses the same ammo as the FENNEC SMG. By simply applying Fully Loaded to the X16 players can gain more starting ammo for the FENNEC, giving the gun the benefit of the perk without taking up an attachment slot.
The FENNEC is one of several new weapons coming to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare in Season 4. This gun was once known as the Vector and has been a fan favorite through many games. The fast firing speed mixed with high damage makes for a lethal weapon in close-combat situations.
The rename and slight redesign have not doused player's excitement about this gun. In its new build, the gun can down an enemy in four shots at close range provided they have no armor. Although this gun becomes more ineffective at longer ranges the weapon has lethal potential in close engagements.
Accuracy is handled well with the recoil being a manageable factor leaving only the ammo as a potential problem to FENNEC pros. Damage and mobility alone would earn this gun a place as one of the best SMGs in Modern Warfare and the ammo expansion tip only goes to improve this already effective weapon.
Fans have been grateful to this extra tip on expanding the gun's ammo reserve. It has been a feature in Call of Duty through several games that if the secondary and primary both have the same ammo that they share an ammo pool. Although it is not always obvious which guns share ammo, this is still a helpful tip to keep in mind while grinding towards Damascus.
