Kingdom Hearts 3: Sora's 10 Best Quotes | Game Rant
One of the purest and kindest characters in all of the Kingdom Hearts games is undoubtedly Sora. He's goofy and young, full of quirky jokes, and is a bit naive about the world. Sora loves his friends and would do anything to protect them, which is clearly shown throughout the exciting game series.
His adorable humor and charming positivity have led the protagonist to provide some of the best lines in the franchise. From his incessant roasting of Donald Duck to his motivating words towards both his friends and enemies, Sora's best quotes from Kingdom Hearts 3 are truly memorable for anyone who's a fan of the series.
10 "Yeah. "Up" is the usual direction."
The very first world that Sora and the gang visit in Kingdom Hearts 3 is Mount Olympus. Upon arrival, the three realize that they missed the Coliseum where they usually land and ended up too far down the mountain. They figure they'll have to explore the area a bit before they find Hercules. Sora urges his friends to follow him in order to find the son of Zeus, to which Donald asks, "up the mountain?" Sora turns and cheekily replies "Yeah. "Up" is the usual direction."
9 "I am calling... With all my heart."
This powerful moment highlights a moving interaction between Ventus and Sora as Aqua fights Vanitas in the Land of Departure. Sora enters the depths of his heart and speaks to an unseen Ventus who is waiting to be awoken. When Sora tells the sleeping keyblade wielder that he doesn't have the power of waking yet, Ventus replies "You never lost it. It sleeps until someone needs it. Call to it..." This leads Sora to finally reach his waking power as he reveals "I am calling... With all my heart."
8 "What? No fair! What about my outfit, Master?"
Once the trio returns from Mount Olympus, they speak with Yen Sid at the Mysterious Tower about their next task. The wizard hands Mickey and Riku two sets of protective clothing to give to Kairi and Lea, who are currently in training.
Sora, clearly jealous of the gifts, exclaims, "What? No fair! What about my outfit, Master?" After a scolding about manners from Donald, Yen Sid reveals that he actually does have a set of new clothes designed by the good fairies for Sora.
7 "Unforgettable... just like your face!"
Sora and Rapunzel are an adorable duo who really compliment each other in life experiences and in battle. When Sora first meets the lost princess in the Kingdom of Corona, he sees her facing her dilemma of staying in her tower or stepping into the outside world. As she walks away with Flynn, Sora thinks back on his fears of leaving his home as well. "The outside world seems so big and scary. I know how she feels. Lucky for me, you two came along at just the right time- and the rest has been unforgettable." Once he realizes he's getting too deep in front of his friends he cracks a joke: "Yep, unforgettable... just like your face!"
6 "You're wrong. My heart is strong"
Sora travels world after world to find the empty shells of his friends after they were defeated in the Keyblade Graveyard. With one heart left to find, Kairi's, Sora ends up face to face with Young Xehanort, who tells Sora that while looking for his lost friends, he's running down a rabbit hole into an abyss of darkness. An abyss that will consume his heart. He gives the most classic response to the antagonist: "You're wrong. My heart is strong." Which ends up being true, as he returns to fight alongside his revived friends once more.
5 "Hey, islander, what can I say?"
Landing in Arendelle leads to Sora immediately realizing that a snowy mountaintop is not the place to be without proper winter clothing. He begs Donald to make him a coat, to which the duck replies that his magic doesn't work that way. As he shivers and tries to warm up, Goofy remarks that the keyblade wielder must be too used to the beach.
"Hey, islander, what can I say?" was Sora's hilarious response. Fortunately, the cold doesn't seem to bother him once he spots a frightened Elsa turning the sea into ice.
4 "I can't computer so... do that."
Sora is not great with technology, and as the use of computers, phones, and new tech rises in the Kingdom Hearts worlds, Sora continuously reveals that he doesn't know how to use them. When he joins up with Hayner, Pence, and Olette in Twilight Town, the crew heads to the mansion where Roxas was transported to a copy of their world. Ienzo speaks with Sora over the phone and guides Pence to reboot the main computer. "We can analyze the virtual Twilight Town while we're at it," Ienzo says before getting an enthusiastic yet confused response from Sora: "Okay! Great. I can't computer so... do that."
3 "It's alright...Xion."
In the Keyblade Graveyard, Sora goes face to face with nearly every member of Organization 13. He gets hurt as Axel fights against Saix, who also eventually gets knocked down by the powerful antagonist. Before Saix can deal the final blow to Axel, a hooded member of the 13 steps in and stops him. The masked girl is then instructed to take her old friend's life, but before she can do so, Sora steps in and creates a powerful moment that helps turn the tides in the battle. As their keyblades clash, he tells her, "it's alright! You can stop now. It's alright...Xion."
2 "Pain is being human."
Once the long Keyblade Graveyard battle is finally coming to a close, Sora speaks to his defeated enemy, Xemnas, with calm and understanding, in the typical Sora spirit.
The all-powerful Organization member tells Sora that the first emotion he has felt in years is loneliness. Stuck in shock of his defeat and his new emotions, Xemnas tells his opposers that "a heart is just pain." Sora reveals that his statement isn't true, and that "pain is being human."
1 "Prepare to face Keyblade Hero 3!"
In the world of San Fransokyo, Sora, Donald, and Goofy meet the Big Hero 6 and team up with them to defeat the world's main antagonist together. Before facing off against their enemy, the three are asked for their names and group title. Inspired a little too much by the team of 6, Sora exclaims that their group name is Keyblade Hero 3. Once they head out to fight some bad guys and save the day, Sora shouts that the villain better "prepare to face Keyblade Hero 3!"
