UFC 4 Reveal Date Leaked | Game Rant
One rumored in-development game was surprisingly absent from this week's EA Play online event. UFC 4, the licensed Ultimate Fighting Championship fighting game, was speculated by some as appearing. That proved to not be the case, however. A new leak hints that a UFC 4 announcement is still coming, though, reserved for a different event entirely.
The official UFC Russia Instagram account recently posted an advertisement for the upcoming UFC 251 event. UFC 251 will take place on Saturday, July 11 and will be available to watch via Pay Per View. In the corner of the advertisement is a surprising note, however. It says, "EA Sports UFC 4 Official Reveal".
Leaks rarely get as obvious as that. It appears that UFC 4 will indeed be announced before or during UFC 251 on July 11, with a reveal to take place during the show. The UFC 4 announcement could take place earlier, since the leak only says "Reveal" so that's all that can be assumed. The UFC likely wants to announce its newest game on its own, though.
It's been over two years since the release of EA Sports UFC 3, with Connor McGregor adorning the box. With UFC 2 releasing in 2016, a biennial release schedule seemed likely, and as such, UFC 4 will likely hit consoles later this year — it may even end up a PS5 and Xbox Series X launch title, too.
UFC 4 is yet to be officially announced.
