Call of Duty: Warzone Player Gets Crazy Helicopter Self Revive
Anyone who has played a lot of Call of Duty: Warzone knows that the game's helicopters are incredibly powerful. They're very powerful on the defensive, as their speed allows players to bail on a bad situation, and, and barring an incredible headshot, it's very hard to kill a player who's riding in one. But helicopters have also proven to be a powerful offensive weapon, mowing down players with their spinning blades.
In a video posted to Twitter, one Warzone player found himself on the wrong side of a helicopter, firing helplessly as the helicopter flew straight towards him. The helicopter connects, instantly downing the player. Normally, this would be the end of the story, but then something amazing happened.
As the helicopter flies away, the downed player moves with it. He'd somehow managed to get stuck on the helicopter, seemingly resting on one of the side footrests. The player, who was lucky enough to be carrying one of Warzone's self revives, is able to get back up, all while still riding on the side of the helicopter.
Once up, the player quickly headshots the unsuspecting helicopter pilot. From there he's free to take control of the helicopter, snatching a victory from the jaws of defeat. He'd accidentally pulled off one of the most epic helicopter hijackings in Warzone's history, thanks to some incredible luck.
It's unclear if this is a glitch, or a very rare but intended feature. Warzone has had a number of high profile glitches since the game was released, including a glitch that gives players infinite pistol ammo. While this event doesn't appear to be game-breaking, it certainly must have been frustrating for the player who was piloting the helicopter.
On the other hand, insane organic moments like this one are part of what keeps players returning to games like Call of Duty: Warzone. Every game opens up a new world of possible adventures to the player. Sure, most will probably end with a trip to the Gulag, but maybe they'll pull off an insane mid-air RPG shot before they go.
Call of Duty: Warzone is available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
