Cyberpunk 2077 Reveals More Character Images of Jackie and More
CD Projekt Red has released a number of in-depth looks at familiar faces to the Cyberpunk 2077 universe with full-body shots, and they're pretty rad. While the wait continues for the delayed release date of Cyberpunk 2077, CD Projekt Red has been busy teasing a lot of content for the upcoming open-world title.
From character reveals to high-res shots of bougie districts, it's sure to get fans hyped up for Cyberpunk 2077 as they wait patiently. While recently the developer has been teasing gorgeous concept art and even what gamers can expect from the stunning Westbrook district, the game's official Instagram page has been releasing tons of looks for veteran characters that fans will be able to meet in their journeys.
First to be released is Dexter Deshawn (left) and Royce (right), both of who have appeared since some of the game's earliest teasers. One of the best fixers in town, barely anything goes on in Night City without his knowledge of it. With his killer intuition, he's sure to be a huge asset to V and their missions. Royce is also a face fans have been seeing along with Dex since early E3 2018 footage. His eyes see through their Red Eye Optical Mods, and he's not a friend of the formerly introduced. Dex will task V with purchasing stolen equipment from Royce's gang. This quest can be completed in a variety of ways, one of which involves taking Royce out.
In the next image, fans get a good look at recently unveiled images of Evelyn Parker and Judy Alvarez, both of whom have strong ties to The Mox gang. The gang is based out of Lizzie's Bar, led by Judy Alvarez. The Mox formed just a year prior to Cyberpunk 2077's setting after the death of Elizabeth "Lizzie" Borden, a strip club owner who fought tooth and nail to protect her employees. And finally, on the rightmost side, there's T-Bug. She also appeared in the game's E3 trailer back in 2018. She's a netrunner with the ability to hack people's cyber-ware, and will assist V in locating Sandra Dorsett in the mission "Breaking Through."
Finally, in the most recently-released image, full-body shots of Jackie Welles (left) and Yorinobu Arasaka (right) are shown. Arasaka is the heir to the Arasaka empire as his father Saburo's only youngest and only surviving son. He's known to rally up the Japanese public to rebel against the corporate figureheads. Jackie Welles, on the other hand, is an ex-member of the Valentinos gang, and family also plays a large part in his backstory.
If Projekt Red's teasing trend continues, fans can expect much more content to unveil before the final, long-anticipated release of Cyberpunk in November.
Cyberpunk 2077 will release November 19 for PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One, with PS5 and Xbox Series X versions to follow.
