Ben 10: Power Trip Gets First Gameplay Trailer | Game Rant
Outright Games announced Ben 10: Power Trip in June, promising a co-op experience for fans of Cartoon Network's Ben 10 series. An official gameplay trailer for this upcoming title released today, giving prospective players an idea of what they can expect from the 3D-action brawler and puzzle game.
Ben 10: Power Trip finds Ben Tennyson and his family on vacation in Europe when a villain named Hex threatens the world with a curse using the power of four mysterious crystals. He and his rival Kevin Leven, controlled by a second player through splitscreen co-op, have to explore a semi-open world using traversal methods unlocked using the Omnitrix to transform into iconic aliens from the ongoing television series, such as Diamondhead, Heatblast, and XLR8.
Overall the game looks a little stiff based on this trailer, and its character models are reminiscent of plastic toys in an attempt to replicate the newest show's simplistic art style. However, it may still be a fun time for fans of the series, which has been getting a lot of love in the video game marketplace as of late, including a crossover between Ben 10 and Brawlhalla.
Though Man of Action Entertainment's Ben 10 first premiered on Cartoon Network in 2006, it has had multiple iterations since. Ben 10: Power Trip is based on the Ben 10 reboot announced in 2015, but offers "a unique story." The game can be pre-ordered on all platforms now, so anyone interested in a couch co-op title can check it out.
Ben 10: Power Trip will be released for the PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One on October 9th, 2020.
