Red Dead 2 Player Launches Hostage Crazy Distance Using Dynamite
The Red Dead Redemption 2 community is pretty well known for doing some amazing and hilarious things in-game. Whether it’s a player miraculously saving a friend’s life from an oncoming train in the online mode or doing absurd stunts with Red Dead 2’s physics, players pull of some crazy stunts.
The Red Dead Redemption 2 community on the official Red Dead Redemption subreddit is a treasure trove of these sorts of clips. Now, a new amazing clip has popped up on the subreddit showcasing a player launching a hostage with a stick of dynamite.
There are some amazing story moments in Red Dead’s history, within both Arthur and John’s respective stories throughout the first and second game. However, players often make their own memorable moments by pulling off some amazing stunts during gameplay. The community surrounding Red Dead 2 constantly shares these moments online and they are an absolute treat to witness. One such moment is a recent clip of a player launching a hogtied hostage into a lake with a stick of dynamite.
The clip in question shows Arthur Morgan with John Marston gingerly setting down a hogtied hostage NPC. After setting the hostage on the ground, Arthur pulls out a stick of dynamite and places it next to the hostage. Arthur then shoots the stick of dynamite with a bow and arrow which launches the hostage an absurd distance into a nearby lake. The physics engine of Red Dead Redemption 2 doesn’t always favor the player, but in this instance it certainly did.
Out of all of Red Dead Redemption 2’s weapons, dynamite may just be the most underappreciated of them all. While dynamite can often lead to very messy outcomes in more ways than one, the sheer amount of damage and havoc that a player can cause with dynamite is a sight to behold. Additionally, the way dynamite explodes in Red Dead Redemption 2 can result in some hilarious moments, as evidenced by this clip. While other weapons are much safer and far more efficient in taking out single enemies, the fun that using dynamite brings in Red Dead Redemption 2 cannot be understated.
While Red Dead Online and Red Dead 2 suffered from glitches and bugs after an update at the beginning of August, those issues have been mostly resolved. Thankfully, players can go back to enjoying the game in a much more stable state than it was just a few weeks ago. The Red Dead community is no doubt thankful that they can go back to causing havoc in their favorite game once again.
Red Dead Redemption 2 is available on PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One.
