The Best Firework Designs in Animal Crossing: New Horizons
The latest Summer Update that Nintendo introduced to Animal Crossing: New Horizons brought tons of new things to the game. There is the return of Luna and the Dream Island, as well as the addition of fireworks. Throughout August, players will be treated with a fireworks display that will take place every Sunday at 7 PM. However, the best part about the addition of fireworks in the game is that players can customize the design of the fireworks.
Unsurprisingly, when Nintendo introduced the feature several days ago, some players have already created NSFW designs for their fireworks. Of course, Nintendo is taking quick action to ensure that these designs do not get shared with the general public, but that shouldn't stop anyone from having fun with these. Yet, for those players who are not so keen on designing one for themselves, but do not want standard fireworks, here are some of the best fireworks design in Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
Animal Crossing players who are also fans of the Pokemon franchise should definitely check out these two designs. The first is a design that resembles a Pokeball, which has been the icon of the popular video game series. Moreover, players can also choose a Pokemon Eevee design, which depicts the shy creature in a cute way. There are probably many other Pokemon-related designs out there, but so far, here are the best ones.

Now, fans of Sanrio would be happy to know that a couple of players have designed fireworks inspired by some of the most popular characters of the Sanrio company. First and foremost of course is Hello Kitty, who remains to be the most popular Sanrio character of all time. Joining Hello Kitty is the adorable good-natured Golden Retriever dog called Pompompurin.

Another popular Nintendo franchise that received some pretty interesting fireworks design is The Legend of Zelda. Several players have created icons that Zelda fans would easily distinguish such as the Zelda Emblem, the iconic Majora's Mask, Link's Hylian Shield, and the Triforce and Hearts icons. Of course, players who are fans of the iconic Legend of Zelda franchise should consider any one of these designs for their next firework show.

Majora's Mask: MO-FPH5-L1P6-PQSG
Link's Shield: MO-79WX-P084-TLNL

Now, Sega fans would be happy to know that some good samaritan has taken things upon themselves and created a firework display based on Sega's official mascot, Sonic the Hedgehog. At the moment, this appears to be the only Sonic the Hedgehog design that players can use for themselves, but it is likely that there are other designs featuring other characters in the franchise that haven't been discovered yet.
Sonic: MO-5FP5-NS54-C0RD
Last but not the least are characters based on another popular Nintendo franchise, Splatoon. Several players have created fireworks design based on the Green Squid and Purple Squid in the game. At the moment, it is unclear whether other players have used other characters from Splatoon, but so far, only the Green and Purple Squids have been discovered.

Purple Squid: MO-GHDM-SF66-2RN1
So for those who are interested in using any of the designs featured above, players must simply talk to Isabelle prior to the Fireworks show and players must inform her that they wish to use custom fireworks design. From there, players can either use their own creation or use designs created by other users by simply entering the item code. As previously mentioned, fireworks are scheduled every Sunday of August, and will begin from 7 PM and will last until 12 AM.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons is out now exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.
