Quantic Dream's Fahrenheit Getting Physical PS4 Release
Quantic Dream's very first console game is making a return. Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy was first released in 2005, and now the developer is working with Meridiem Games to create a physical edition of the game for PlayStation 4, as a 15-year anniversary celebration of the game that helped put Quantic Dream on the map.
Since the developer's first release in 1999, Quantic Dream has only created five video games. The team seems to take its time crafting story-based titles with an interesting gameplay twist, and Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy was the action-adventure game that set the stage for Quantic Dream and its successful future. Although Fahrenheit was remastered in 2016, this special edition may be the first chance some fans have had to enjoy the game since it launched.
The 15th Anniversary Edition of Fahrenheit will include a collector's case and sleeve, stickers, an artbook, and even a thank you letter crafted by Quantic Dream. The package will be made available in November in Australia and Europe. In just its few titles, Quantic Dream has made some remarkable characters and stories, which is why there will certainly be a group of fans who will happily pick up this anniversary edition of Fahrenheit.
At the moment there is no news on a North American release of the game, so fans will have to wait on the possibility of this collector's item making its way across the pond. In the meantime, the standard Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy is available to purchase in the PlayStation Store, and it may be a backward-compatible game on the PS5 as well.
