Taco Bell's Xbox Series X Giveaway Leaks | Game Rant
Next-gen consoles are launching this holiday season. With just months to go until release, advertising partners are starting to reveal their partnerships. Whether it's Halo Infinite-branded Monster Energy drinks or Doritos giving away PlayStation 5s, snackers may get an early start on next-gen. Now a new example has apparently leaked which is partnering with Xbox to give away free Xbox Series X consoles. In a returning partnership, Taco Bell's promotion should start later this month.
A leaked internal Taco Bell document showing promotions planned for the company's September through November calendar period revealed the promotion. Alongside the $5 Grande Stacker Box and the returning Nachos Party Pack, Taco Bell will be offering an Xbox Series X giveaway promotion. Taco Bell describes it as a "once in a lifetime chance" to win an Xbox Series X. And better yet, customers will be able to win one before the Xbox Series X is even available to purchase.
In addition to winning an Xbox Series X, which is a great reward in and of itself, Taco Bell will also be including one other awesome prize. All winners will also receive a 6-month pass for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. Ultimate bundles together Game Pass for both PC and Xbox consoles, as well as the Xbox Live Gold subscription necessary to play games online. It also allows the use of the new xCloud cloud streaming service.
For a chance at winning an Xbox Series X, all Taco Bell customers will have to do is purchase a Medium or Large drink from participating Taco Bell locations. It's unclear how customers will know whether they've won or not, but it'll likely be a tag or label that can be pulled off of the cups. It also unclear when winners would actually receive their rewards. It'd be unlikely that they'd get them before the console's eventual launch, though.
Those interested in trying to win an Xbox Series X for themselves can look forward to the promotion starting on September 23. The promotion then will continue on through at least November 4. It's possible that it will be continued beyond that date. November 4 is just the end of the period the leak is tracking.
This isn't the first time that Taco Bell has partnered with Xbox. Taco Bell also did a similar giveaway for a special Xbox One X in 2019. Taco Bell even used to partner with Sony, giving away PlayStation 4 consoles all the way back in 2013 and 2014. It's unclear why Taco Bell went with Xbox again in 2020, but Taco Bell fans will likely appreciate the offering nonetheless.
