Warzone Fan Creates Easy Loadout Guide For New Players
Getting started in Call of Duty: Warzone can be a daunting task. With thousands of players registered and hundreds competing in every drop, beginner Warzone fans can sometimes get lost when it comes to building the right loadout.
Proper gear is one of the key elements in winning a round of Warzone. While selecting the perfect loadout takes time, one fan has created a quick guide to at least get beginners started in winning a round.
Reddit user volkswaggerwagen created an interesting Warzone loadout graphic to help break down a good starting set of varying classes. The idea is to have an adaptable range of weapon and equipment choices so that players can adapt to the situation around them. As with many Warzone loadout guides, half of the classes will be running Overkill, as having two primary weapons is important in a random loot situation. Most enemy players will be running two primaries just based on what they found around the map, so running gear from the box will have to compete with their found set. Each of the loadouts comes with a suggested set of weapons.
The second perk that volkswaggerwagen recommends is Ghost. Half of the loadouts are running Ghost, presumably in an effort to thwart Heartbeat Sensors and UAVs. With many players relying on the added information to judge their assaults, Ghost can become extremely valuable in bypassing reconnaissance and gaining an upper hand in sneak attack efforts.
The third, and the one most questioned by others, is Fully Loaded. This is a weapon perk that is available on all weapons that allow for players to gain their weapons with the max set of ammo. While this perk sees frequent use in multiplayer, in Warzone, ammo is less of an issue. With several on-map ammo depots and ammo scattered throughout the battlefield, players usually do not rely on the perk.
His main reasoning based on the comments is that Fully Loaded can come in handy after a gulag or emergency drop. Rather than starting from a set kit, the fully loaded loadouts are designed for those moments where no gear is available and players may have to survive on the contents of the box for longer than intended. Still, his guide is super clean and useful for anyone who wants to get started designing their own loadouts. Players should always choose weapons they are comfortable with, but seeing what other players are running is helpful in designing personal loadouts.
Call of Duty: Warzone is available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
