One of these streamers who helped in this endeavor is an older man named OldBuzzardt. OldBuzzardt, a 72-year-old man often referred to as Buzz by friends and family, was known for having a cheerful personality while playing games. Buzz was also known for playing Fortnite daily, amassing over 80,000 followers. Sadly, OldBuzzardt passed away in his home on October 17.

The announcement was made by family members prior to one of Buzz's scheduled streams this past weekend. Family members left a still image of Buzz smiling face with a message to fans. The message stated that Buzz had passed away at home on the 17th, and that they have decided to leave the chat open for Twitch moderators and fans to share some favorite memories and pay their respect. While the cause of death has not been mentioned, it is important to give friends and family members the space they need to cope with the situation.

Before Buzz jumped to Twitch streaming, he had spent many years in law enforcement, ranging from 1969 to 2010. Buzz also had brief phases of serving in the U.S. Air Force and the U.S. Army Active Reserve. Based on Buzz's Twitch biography, Buzz has been playing video games ever since 1982, with his first system being the Commodore 64 computer. While on Twitch, Buzz would go on to play Fortnite so much that Epic Games even acknowledged his contribution by giving him his own Creator Code.

OldBuzzardt served as a reminder to Twitch users and the gaming community as a whole that these videogames are meant to be a joyful experience. While other people only play these games to win, Buzz found enjoyment from interacting with his teammates and fans. His pure happiness while playing games was infectious, and his fans will always remember his impact on gaming and will be remembered by his fans. We offer sincere commiseration to all of Buzz's friends and family, and we wish you the best through this heartbreaking experience.
