Animal Crossing: New Horizons - How to Get Lollipops | Game Rant
The Animal Crossing: New Horizons Halloween event is in full swing, giving fans of Nintendo's popular life simulation game the chance to trick or treat with their Animal Crossing villagers. The Animal Crossing: New Horizons event wraps up at 12am local time, and it features plenty of Halloween-themed rewards for fans to collect. However, getting the best Halloween items in Animal Crossing: New Horizons requires players to collect lollipops and give them to Jack the Halloween Czar.
Jack the Halloween Czar can be found near the town square in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Animal Crossing players first need to give him a piece of candy, and then he will ask for lollipops, claiming lollipops are his favorite kind of treat. If players manage to give Jack lollipops, he will give them better Halloween rewards, including some rather impressive-looking Halloween furniture to decorate their islands with, along with various Halloween clothing items. Luckily, getting lollipops in Animal Crossing: New Horizons isn't too difficult - if players have enough candy.
Basically, to get Animal Crossing: New Horizons lollipops, players need to give candy to their villagers when they say trick or treat. Sometimes the villagers will give players a different kind of Halloween-themed reward, but other times they will hand over lollipops. As soon as players get a lollipop, they will want to head over to Jack and trade it for a better reward.
The trick is having enough candy to give to the villagers, especially since villagers won't give players a lollipop every time. Unfortunately, unless one has been actively purchasing candy from Nook's Cranny every day this past month, having enough candy to get all the Halloween-themed items is going to be tricky. Sometimes talking to villagers who are in their houses and not out and about on the island will get players some candy that they can pass out, but otherwise only players that properly prepared are going to get the most of the event.
If Animal Crossing: New Horizons players didn't properly prepare for the Halloween event and are missing out on some Halloween items, they shouldn't stress too much. Animal Crossing: New Horizons Thanksgiving and Christmas events will be going live in the near future, and they are sure to have their own challenges and rewards. Plus, the Animal Crossing: New Horizons event will roll back around next October, so anyone that missed out this year should make it a point to play next time around.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons is out now, exclusively for Nintendo Switch.
