Fallout 76 Confirms Next Free Play Week | Game Rant

To celebrate when the bombs fell and the end of the world in the franchise's lore, Bethesda is allowing players to play Fallout 76 for free until October 26. During this week, players can grab a number of different sales in and out of Fallout 76.

On October 23, the world in the Fallout series ended due to the bombs being dropped. In commemoration of the end of the world, Bethesda is celebrating by making Fallout 76 free to play until October 26. Those who play the game during this time will see a number of benefits and rewards given to them.

During this week, players of Fallout 76 will get double S.C.O.R.E and double XP. S.C.O.R.E is a points system in Fallout 76's seasons that ranks up characters and unlocks various rewards. Not only that, but in-game purchases are cheaper as well.

Atoms are a type of currency in Fallout 76 that can be purchased with real money. Obtaining free Atoms in Fallout 76 can be a bit challenging, so players often purchase them. Atoms are cheaper during this week and can be purchased in packs for up to 35% off the base price. It should be noted that Atoms are mainly for cosmetic items, such as new outfits and skin, so not buying Atoms will not affect the gameplay experience.

Finally, those interested in Fallout 1st memberships can get a taste of it during this week as well. Fallout 1st Preview allows players to have access to the Scrapbox and Survival Tent. Scrapbox gives players unlimited storage for crafting components and the Survival Tent gives players a safe place to sleep, stash their items, and gives them an extra fast travel point.

Although players can experience Fallout 76 for free for a week, they will have to still purchase the game if they want to continue their adventure. Thankfully, Bethesda is not expecting players to pay full price for the game, as Fallout 76 is on sale for 60% off.

Even though the focus is on Fallout 76, those who have no interest in the game can still celebrate as well. Players interested in Fallout 4 can purchase the game for 70% off, while Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas are also on sale for those uninterested in playing Fallout 76. There are plenty of ways to celebrate the end of the world this week.

Fallout 76 is available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
