Watch Dogs Legion: Best Recruits | Game Rant
Watch Dogs Legion is out now and offers players a huge open-world map set in the fictional post-Brexit city of London. Ever since the game's announcement, Ubisoft has been extensively promoting a feature in Watch Dogs Legion that allows players to recruit any NPC they want to their team.
Given the almost unlimited number of characters recruited in Watch Dogs Legion, picking the best ones may not be as easy as it seems. It's worth noting that every character in the game will have their own unique perks and skillset, making it a little bit difficult to choose which ones would work best on specific missions. Now, for players who may need a little bit of guidance in choosing people for their team, here are the best recruits in Watch Dogs Legion that players should hunt for straight away.
The Beekeeper is probably not what most players have in mind when thinking of characters to recruit on their team. Although Beekeepers live a simple life tending to their beehives, they are useful assets in the game, especially in missions that require long-distance attacks. Of course, bees are often lethal in most video games, and Watch Dogs Legion is no exception. Although the bees in the game are mechanical, they are useful when players need to attack enemies while keeping themselves at a safe distance. The Watch Dogs Legion Beekeeper can be found hanging around in front of Parliament in the City of Westminster.
Although Watch Dogs Legion is heavy in action elements, certain missions require players to take a stealthier approach. In these situations, having a spy proves to be useful, especially since they have access to some of the coolest vehicles in the game, such as an Aston Martin equipped with rockets that can turn invisible. Watch Dogs Legion's spy can be found outside of the MI6 building in Lambeth, just beside the River Thames.
Brave players who are traversing the city of London with permadeath on should always have a paramedic on their team. However, it is worth noting that paramedics' skillsets in Watch Dogs Legion are not always the same. Still, they offer access to certain medical facilities and will allow injured operatives to return to the team faster. Players can find paramedics driving around the game in ambulances, making them easy to spot. Moreover, players can also summon an ambulance at will, which may prove useful when they find themselves in a sticky situation.
Although spies are excellent in covert operations, they are not effective in killing a huge number of opponents at once, which is where Watch Dogs Legion's hitman comes into play. Moreover, each hitman in the game comes equipped with an arsenal of weapons, which could vary from one character to another, but usually, they carry a G36 assault rifle and Desert Eagle pistol.
Watch Dogs Legion features a vast open-world environment, and escaping certain parts of the city is not always easy, especially when players have an Albion chasing them. However, having a getaway driver makes things easier, especially since they come with vehicles that can make a quick getaway, even in the tightest of situations. Additionally, getaway drivers can hack other vehicles easily compared to other operatives in the game. They also have anti-chase immunity making it impossible for chase drones to track them.
Watch Dogs Legion is available now for PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One. The game will launch with the Xbox Series X on November 10 and the PS5 on November 24.
