GameStop Will Have Some Xbox Series X Consoles Available Tonight
Since the launch of both consoles, it has become increasingly difficult for consumers to get their hands on an Xbox Series X/S. With various retail outlets struggling to maintain stock and with a backlog of pre-orders, it's nearly impossible to purchase the Xbox Series X/S online, let alone in a physical retail store. Luckily, it seems GameStop has a few extra consoles to spare.
GameStop has seen its fair share of success and sales ever since the launch of both the Xbox Series X/S and the PS5, but like many other retail outlets, it has suffered from a number of pitfalls that have arisen as a result of the excessively high demand for the next-gen systems. Although, GameStop seems to have a limited number of console bundles available to purchase, though with how fast they've been going, there's a chance that they've already sold out.
Twitter user Wario64 tweeted out that GameStop would have a limited number of Xbox Series X/S bundles that are now live on the GameStop online store. These bundles are only available online but serve as a great alternative for those who potentially missed the pre-order period for the Xbox Series X/S. Though, what's truly impressive is what is included with the bundles themselves.
The most expensive bundle included on GameStop's online store is just under 900 dollars, nearly a full 400 dollars more than what the Series X already costs. However, for 900 the bundle comes with quite a lot, such as a blue controller along with a standard controller variant, a 1 terabyte storage expansion card, a wired headset, a fifty dollar Xbox store gift card, and a three-month subscription to Xbox Game Pass.
There are also two other Xbox Series X bundles that are marginally less expensive, but still include quite a lot of additional content. The cheapest bundle alone comes with an extra controller, a fifty-dollar gift card, and an Xbox Game Pass subscription, and it also comes with a copy of Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War and NBA 2K 21, respectively.
There's even an Xbox Series S bundle that includes quite a lot of content, such as an additional controller, the Xbox Game Pass subscription, and a copy of Assassin's Creed Valhalla as well as the aforementioned Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War. Sadly, there aren't any non-bundle options available, but at the very least, the consoles are available to purchase somewhere. If only until the console bundles inevitably sell out.
The Xbox Series X/S are available now.
