World of Warcraft: Shadowlands - How to Complete Pupa Trooper Quest
World of Warcraft: Shadowlands has given players plenty of new content to explore and missions to complete. Even with some diehard World of Warcraft players already reaching level 60, Blizzard made sure to include enough extra content so the fun can keep going.
One of the new level 60 world quest missions in the World of Warcraft: Shadowlands 9.0 patch requires players to travel to Ardenweald. There, players are tasked with borrowing a pair of enchanted wings to collect 10 Ardenmoth Cocoons from high tree branches.
The quest in itself is simple to complete. However, some World of Warcraft fans have been experiencing bugs with the enchanted wings coming off when they are collecting cocoons. There are some helpful methods to complete the mission in a stress-free and concise manner, meant to help combat this.
If players are experiencing the glitch in World of Warcraft, they can work around it by flying up to land on the branch or solid ground above all the cocoons before collecting. That way, the player can complete the process through the floor before returning to get their enchanted wings.
The first cocoon is hiding directly above the player from the starting point of the quest, in the first tree placed behind them.
For the second cocoon, fly directly to the right of the first one, and it will be dangling off the lower part of the adjacent tree branch.
The third cocoon is directly behind the second, hidden under the wooden planks connecting onto the tree. For players experiencing the World of Warcraft bug, this might be where they would have to try flying above the planks and realigning the camera.
From the third cocoon, head west and keep going under the plank until discovering another cocoon hanging under the floorboards.
The fifth cocoon is to the east from the last hiding place, high up in a treetop connected to more floorboards.
If the player travels higher and heads more southwest from the last cocoon, they will find the sixth one hidden near another tree's top.
The seventh cocoon is hidden in the leaves directly west of the previous cocoon.
Players can find the eighth cocoon south from the seventh, hidden in another tree branch.
The ninth cocoon is hidden in the tree branches of one of the smaller trees with a spiral design on the front and an archway below it.
For the final cocoon, the player has to look west, and they can find it higher up in the trees from their position.
If the player falls while collecting the cocoons, they will have to travel back to the enchanted wings location and continue the process. Luckily, they won't lose progress for the mission, but if it happens often, this might make for a painful experience. Hopefully, World of Warcraft developers can quickly fix this bug affecting this quest so players can complete it more efficiently.
World of Warcraft is available now for PC.
