Call of Duty: Mobile Announces Winter-Themed Season 13 Releasing This Week
Call of Duty: Mobile is gearing up for the winter season, and will release new content this week in preparation for the holidays. New content already announced for Call of Duty: Mobile's Season 13 includes the Nuketown Russia map, but the new holiday update will be adding even more to the game.
Call of Duty: Mobile tends to launch seasonal updates, and the latest one will be geared toward winter themes for the holidays. The upcoming winter holiday update is called "Winter War," and will be arriving tomorrow, December 21. The winter-themed event will be introducing new content in the form of weapons, snow-covered maps, online events, a new Multiplayer mode, and more.
A significant part of the Winter War update is the addition of new winter-styled maps. One of the new maps is a snowy region in Call of Duty: Mobile called Ski Town, a new location that will be added to the game's Battle Royale map. Other new maps include the aforementioned Nuketown Russia as a Multiplayer map, and the extravagant Holiday Raid map with a mansion covered in snow and decorated for the holidays.
Along with the new maps, the holiday update will be adding the new Multiplayer mode called Grind, as well as the seasonal Battle Pass to the game. The Grind mode will be combining the rules of Kill Confirmed and Hardpoint modes. Players will retrieve fallen players' dog tags, and then take them to established locations around the map before they're also taken out.
Players can earn more rewards and content with the Winter War Battle Pass through Free and Premium Pass Tiers. Some of the new content includes new Operators, weapon blueprints, Charms, a new Scorestreak, and more. The holiday update will also feature seasonal challenges and events for players to earn more rewards, like the "On the Brink" Event. Players can earn a new SMG in Call of Duty: Mobile called QXR and a new Multiplayer perk called Restock that recharge items in 25-second periods.
Winter War will add in the new Peacekeeper to Call of Duty: Mobile as a Mythic weapon, promoted as being made in space and infused with magma. The weapon blueprint reveals it shoots magma-wrapped bullets and will have several new customization options.
Players can look forward to a lot more winter-themed content in Call of Duty: Mobile's Winter War holiday update releasing tomorrow at 4:00 p.m. PT.
Call of Duty: Mobile is available now on Android and iOS devices.
