Call of Duty: Warzone Streamer BobbyPoff Unveils His Season 1 Changes Wishlist
As active players in the Call of Duty: Warzone community, streamers often give their opinions on improvements they would want to see in the game. BobbyPoff is no exception, as he has quickly risen through the ranks as one of Call of Duty: Warzone's best players. With Season 1 on the horizon, there are several changes that BobbyPoff hopes to see in the coming integration.
Known on the internet as "Scarf Lord," Bobby Poff has a huge following of Call of Duty enthusiasts. With a massive social media reach, top-tier Twitch gameplay, and a reputation for professional Blackout experience, this competitive streamer is more than qualified to see problems within the battle royale experience.
The CharlieIntel podcast interviewed BobbyPoff, hoping to gain insight into his Season 1 expectations. Considering that Call of Duty: Warzone is set to receive a massive burst of content, BobbyPoff believes that there are three main ways that Season 1 can excel above previous expansions. One major spot of improvement would be the popularity found in the recent Call of Duty: Warzone Halloween experience.
BobbyPoff believes that Activision could easily benefit from more holiday events, similar to the way that Fortnite handles each season. By adding in more updates, game events, and following Fortnite's example, he believes that Warzone could excel. Aside from events, he could also see Call of Duty: Warzone collaborating on nostalgic maps and adding them into Verdansk. For a simple example, Wasteland from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 could easily fit the war-torn aesthetic of the cityscape.
His second recommendation revolved around the Call of Duty: Warzone hacker issue. He argues that with the money that Activision makes off the title, it is surprising that it hasn't invested in solutions that would make the community happy.
While anti-cheats appear occasionally, the CoD hacking community routinely finds a way around them. BobbyPoff believes that if anti-cheat measures are routinely installed, players would at least be able to see progress being made and become less discouraged.
His third recommendation revolves around the Call of Duty: Warzone meta. He believes that the meta needs to be changed more often to avoid overpowered weapons from being a long-term problem. When a meta is an issue for months, then that is an issue with the game itself. If things rotated quicker, players would have to adjust constantly, and the in-game meta would be harder for fans to solidify their tactics around.
