Fortnite: How to Collect Gnomes from Fort Crumpet and Holly Hedges
Fortnite has introduced the Week 5 challenges for Chapter 2, Season 5, and there's a lot of digging going on. From finding the buried blue coin in Retail Row to burying gnomes in different locations, players will be down in the dirt this week. But in order to bury those gnomes, players will first have to find them.
There are three total gnome-themed challenges this week, which is possibly foreshadowing the release of the Gnome Gun in Fortnite. First, players have to Dig up 4 Gnomes from Fort Crumpet and Pleasant Park, Bury 2 Gnomes in Pleasant Park or Retail Row, and also Collect 4 Gnomes from Fort Crumpet and Holly Hedges.
In order to complete the challenge to collect Fortnite gnomes from Fort Crumpet and Holly Hedges, players will have to get four total gnome statues. Thankfully, they do not have to be in one single match for it to count. The reward for completing this challenge is XP toward the Battle Pass.
Fort Crumpet is located to the far west of the map, southwest of Coral Castle and northwest of Sweat Sands. Gnomes have been infesting Fortnite's Fort Crumpet for a while, and players need to head there again to find two of the little statues.
The first gnome is immediately to the right after the entrance of Fort Crumpet, hiding behind the cash register.
The second gnome in Fort Crumpet is under the stairs. From the entrance, head straight in, then enter the archways into the building. Turn left at the first opportunity inside the building, and there will be a set of stairs. The gnome is hiding underneath them.
Holly Hedges is a named location, so it should be pretty easy for players to find. However, here's a map in case players need a refresher:
The third gnome location is here, just behind the fence near the Snowdown holiday tree in Holly Hedges, just beyond the decorated hedge arch.
The last gnome is located inside the nursery. Turn around from the archway, and look for a spray painted building. This is the nursery. Enter the building (the entrance will be on the right side of the building), and head inside. There, players will find wooden walls hiding plants of all sorts. Head to the right past the wooden walls, and there will be giant potted plants hiding a gnome.
That should be the last needed gnome for this challenge. And don't forget the New Year's Eve party that Fortnite will be hosting to celebrate the coming of 2021.
Fortnite is free-to-play for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, and Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
