Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Earthblood Reveals New Gameplay
Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Earthblood is an action role-playing game set in the World of Darkness, and slated to release in just a couple of months. And while a creepy Werewolf: The Apocalypse trailer was shown over the summer, the developer has just released an extensive gameplay dive that shows off so much of what the title has to offer.
Players take control of a werewolf named Cahal in Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Earthblood. The game will release on many platforms when it launches on February 4, 2021, but the fact that Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Earthblood is coming to Xbox Series X/S and PS5 is part of what makes it an intriguing title.
In the mission that is shown off with this first gameplay look, Cahal is tasked with sabotaging an oil company that is destroying the environment. The footage shows off the visceral beat’em up with powerful and interesting combat in werewolf form, but also reconnaissance and stealth while in wolf form. Julien "Patch" Desourteaux, Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Earthblood's game director, explains each element in the six-minute gameplay showcase, which highlights the RPG elements, exploration, stealth, and over-the-top action with supernatural and otherworldly elements. The World of Darkness is expanding, and Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Earthblood is the newest addition.
There are quite a few interesting games in and upcoming in the World of Darkness realm, including the Vampire: The Masquerade games and even a battle royale set in the Vampire: The Masquerade world. French developer Cyanide Studio is known for titles such as Styx: Shards of Darkness, Call of Cthulhu, and Blood Bowl 3.
Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Earthblood will release on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X on February 4, 2021.
