World of Warcraft: Shadowlands - Best Priest Legendaries
World of Warcraft: Shadowlands brought plenty of new features to the game. One of these features is called Runecarving, and it allows players to craft their own legendary items. Naturally, players immediately took to experimenting in order to determine which World of Warcraft: Shadowlands legendary items are the most useful for their class. The three Priest specs all get benefits from different legendaries, with one being much more difficult to acquire than the others.
Runecarving is an essential part of reaching max level in Shadowlands. Legendary items can be crafted into several gear slots. Once made, players can venture through the Tower of Torghast and unlock different recipes for changing the abilities on these items. Some legendary items make or break builds in Shadowlands, while others merely buff up what is already a powerful class.
Discipline, the first Priest spec, has two main options that change based on what the player enjoys running. For doing raids in World of Warcraft, the Clarity of Mind legendary item can be crafted as a chest or ring that extends active Atonements while decreasing the mana cost of certain abilities. If the player prefers Mythic+ content, a better craft is the head or shoulder Twins of the Sun Priestess. This item allows the player to keep Power Infusion while also sharing it with an ally.
When it comes to Holy Priest, Harmonious Apparatus is an easy and useful choice. This legendary can be either a shoulder or a ring, and causes Circle of Healing, Prayer of Mending, and Holy fire to reduce the cooldowns of Holy Word: Sanctify, Holy Word: Serenity, and Holy Word: Chastise, respectively. This requires very little from the player, so they can focus their attention on learning the new Shadowlands healing rotations.
Shadow Priests have a bit of a difficult time in terms of acquiring their best legendary item. Far above the others sits the Eternal Call to the Void. This can be a wrist or hands item and grants Mind Flay and Mind Sear a chance to spawn Void Tendrils and Void Lashers, all while generating Insanity for the player. The downside to this powerful item is that it is acquired inside Castle Nathria, which isn’t open as of this writing. The official opening of the first Shadowlands raid is on December 8, so players have to wait a few more days.
Players must keep in mind that the Shadowlands expansion is still new, so there is likely going to be some changes to the meta in the following weeks. However, these legendary items can vastly improve player performance during the more difficult parts of Shadowlands, so they are worth getting. Experimentation coupled with more content being released means the game will continue to see more combinations of powerful legendary items, so players should be on the lookout for whatever comes next.
