Ash vs Evil Dead Actress Announces Return for Evil Dead Game
Evil Dead: The Game looks to be one of the most interesting next-gen horror multiplayer experiences coming in 2021. In fact, many consider it to be one of the highest anticipated titles of 2021. To add to the excitement, one of the stars of the movies just announced that she will be reprising her role for the game.
Dana DeLorenzo plays as Kelly Maxwell in Ash vs Evil Dead, and she will be doing so again in Evil Dead: The Game. She revealed this in a recent tweet to her fans, letting them know that she is excited to voice the character.
In the announcement, a very short gif also plays, as Kelly Maxwell is seen holding what seems to be a makeshift weapon. She then leans up against the yellow taxi. In the tweet, DeLorenzo says that players should get ready to kick some serious Deadlite butt in Evil Dead: The Game when it launches, just like the movies/show.
Evil Dead: The Game has a chance to tie in wonderfully with the movies. The source material is ripe for video games. Whether the developer chooses to have the game be a one-to-one experience or build off of the movies, there is a lot to choose from purely from a gameplay perspective. Thus far, based on the trailers that have been shown and the information that has been gathered, there are tons of homages and details taken directly from the movies. Fans shouldn't have to wait much longer now to see what developer Saber Interactive has in store.
Evil Dead: The Game releases on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC in 2021.
