Dr Disrespect Believes Call of Duty: Warzone Could Learn A Lot From Escape From Tarkov's Audio
Call of Duty: Warzone is an extremely popular battle royale experience. Although it is not the only game of its type, its community is constantly looking for ways that the game could grow. Some streamers believe that by taking pieces of other popular titles, Call of Duty: Warzone could grow into an even more successful title.
This is not the first time that Call of Duty: Warzone and Escape from Tarkov has been discussed in tandem. Many streamers have shared their thoughts on the popular shooter, and Dr Disrespect is one who has strong opinions on the game. There are several features in Escape from Tarkov that he believes could be used to improve Call of Duty: Warzone.
Ever since the Call of Duty: Warzone integration with Black Ops Cold War, fans have seen new content. Still, the game seems to have several consistent problems that frustrate the pro Call of Duty: Warzone streamer; one being the quality of Call of Duty: Warzone's audio. On a stream from January 11, he was playing Call of Duty: Warzone before taking the time to comment on how "bad" the game audio is. He believes the issue is that the current audio set up makes it hard for him to tell where enemies are, as player footsteps sound much farther than where they really are. He believes that Escape from Tarkov provides an example of what Warzone's audio should be like.
This is not the first time that this issue has been brought up. Battle royale fans in Fortnite, Call of Duty: Warzone and Apex Legends have noticed the same problem, and Dr Disrespect has never been shy about calling it out. While he is not a dedicated Escape from Tarkov fan, he does seem to respect that they have features other titles could use.
In Escape from Tarkov, players can hear every gunshot clearly, and footsteps sound clearer relative to their position. It is this clear and precise quality that Dr Disrespect hopes to see from Warzone, and he will continue to ask Activision to provide it.
In a game like Call of Duty: Warzone, audio quality is extremely important. Dr Disrespect thinks Activision should take note and provide the same quality found in other titles. This is not the first time that he has offered advice on improving Warzone, as in the past he has suggested changes for the Gulag, and even commented on how to reduce hacking in the community.
Call of Duty: Warzone is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
