Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Adds St. Patrick's Stockpile Playlist
Even with Season 2's release, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War continues to receive a fair amount of new content and performance fixes. One of which included fixing the game's servers that repeatedly crashed the game for players.
Of course, there are still things the players would like to see added into Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. The patch notes for the latest update reveal the issues its developer is addressing in the game. It also shows new content added to the game, with one of the new additions being the St. Patrick's Stockpile Playlist.
While players wanted the Mercenary Mode playlist in the game, the developer will be adding this playlist in celebration of St. Patrick's Day. According to the patch notes, the multiplayer mode will be available starting today through next Thursday, March 18. In the St. Patrick's Stockpile playlist, players will be able to engage each other to collect the dropped Shamrocks. The objective will be for players to gather as many Shamrocks as they can get, and then they will deposit their stash in the Pot o’ Gold to earn points.
The first team to score the most points and reach the score limit will win. However, players who go down will drop all of their stockpile as well, so players will need to be careful while carrying their stash. Once St. Patrick's Day has passed, the developer will be adding the classic Stockpile mode based on its first appearance in Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, when it was known as Fracture.
In addition to the St. Patrick's Stockpile playlist, the patch notes show the game will be receiving other new changes. One of which includes an in-game Patch Notes Tab that players will be able to see at the Message of the Day screen. It will help keep players up to date on all the latest new additions being added to the game. Players will be able to scroll and read through the notes to see what's been introduced to the game.
Some of the other additions in the recent update include fixes to Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War's League Play scoreboard and Zombies, such as addressing issues with the Retrieval Objective, the User Interface in Outbreak, and players can fully complete the "Treasured Weapons" Challenge. The update includes several other changes to Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War that players can check out now.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
