SMITE Releases New Cinematic Trailer for King Gilgamesh
A brand new god is headed to SMITE. Developer Hi-Rez Studios has released a fresh trailer for the third-person battle arena game, and the Babylonian King of Uruk is just about to arrive.
SMITE originally launched back in 2014 as a competitor to Riot Games' League of Legends. But the game has its own attributes and there are so many tips and tricks that SMITE players must know to rise to the top. With a new god entering the fray, there will be new strategies to learn as well.
Gilgamesh, King of Uruk is set to be the next god in SMITE. Hi-Rez Studios released a cinematic trailer for the character earlier today, showcasing his flashy moves, golden warrior armor, fiery scimitar, and more. Apparently one of his go-to moves will also be an impressive and devastating dropkick.
These ongoing updates for Smite, Rogue Company, and Paladins from Hi-Rez Studios are a part of an overall plan to support the games moving forward in an aggressive way, in 2021 and likely beyond. While Smite has been ongoing for seven years, Paladins has been going strong for five, and Rouge Company is off to a solid start as well. Each of these games from Hi-Rez Studios takes an idea from other solid foundations and builds off of them in unique and interesting ways. It is a distinctive strategy as a developer, and one that seems to be working for Hi-Rez Studios. The new god that is Gilgamesh the King of Uruk is just the most recent example.
