Useful Call of Duty: Warzone Map Showcases Bunker Changes
Tons of things changed in Call of Duty: Warzone Season 2 as a large ship banked on the shore of Verdansk. While the ship gained lots of attention, several of the notable bunker locations changed, and nuclear silos opened across the game's map. With things changing so rapidly, it can be hard to know what features are still around in Call of Duty: Warzone during Season 2.
To make this a little easier, one fan has created a useful map for Call of Duty: Warzone bunker fans. The map gives a good view of several notable locations across Verdansk, along with some lesser-known changes. As players explore the many features found in Warzone, this map may quickly become a valued asset for veteran squads.
The map was created by Reddit user revivalofhonor, who wanted to help their squad with the recent bunker changes. During the Call of Duty: Warzone Season 2 update, several of the popular bunker locations were locked permanently. At the moment, it is unknown as to why these bunkers are now unavailable, but several of them connect to the controls of a known nuclear device. Meanwhile, three nuclear facilities opened up across the map giving players a full view of the weapon that could end Verdansk. The map includes the viable bunkers and provides the codes needed to open each door. Having the codes at each location is helpful enough, but the fan has even color-coded the map for players' convenience.
Fans in the comments have taken it upon themselves to inform the map creator of additional updates. Several of the bunkers are closed, and some of the keypads are non-operation. Every Call of Duty: Warzone patch seems to be adapting the map closer and closer to the rumored nuclear launch.
Revivalofhonor updated the map in the comments with confirmed results. Several of the shacks appear to no longer need keycards, but they may still require codes depending on the shack. Call of Duty: Warzone's bunkers appear to not be functioning at all, but some rumors say that Bunker 10 is already open once the game starts.
Maps like this continue to appear across Reddit as players attempt to inform the community of hard-to-find locations. These Call of Duty: Warzone maps may be useful, but with the destruction of Verdansk rumored on the horizon, many fans wonder how much longer the game's world may have with players inside of each facility.
Call of Duty: Warzone is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
